A five-time horse veterinarian for the Olympic games, Dr. Snyder recently retired from the faculty at UC Davis veterinary school, where he taught for over 30 years. His practice is now based at Circle Oak Equine, California. Since being the Head Surgeon at the 24th Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea he has served in numerous other professional roles, including Head Surgeon and Foreign Veterinary Delegate for the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico; President of the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington KY and Hospital Director of the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong, among many others. Dr. Snyder is the author of hundreds of publications, articles and abstracts and has lectured extensively at international conferences and symposia.
