PANEL DISCUSSION DESCRIPTION
Feline Chronic Gingivostomatitis (FCGS) has long been regarded as a particularly frustrating condition to manage and can have a large impact on the welfare of affected cats, significantly reducing their quality of life. Often known by the abridged ‘feline stomatitis,’ the condition is far more complex than simply ‘inflammation of the mouth’ and there is much still to learn about the multifactorial aetiopathogenesis. Involvement of a variety of bacterial, viral and environmental factors has previously been proposed leading to chronic antigen stimulation, an aberrant immune response and severe inflammation of the oral mucosa in affected individuals, often necessitating full mouth extractions.
Join an international multidisciplinary panel of specialists with expertise in internal medicine and feline dentistry for discussion of the potential aetiopathogenesis of this complex disease, diagnosis and differentiation from other feline oral conditions and the latest on evidence-based treatment strategies. Attendees will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences of this frustrating condition.
Panel Discussion Registration Process: Once you have registered and upon payment, you will receive the link to access the on-demand recording for a period of 8 weeks. If you wish to receive a Certificate of Attendance after having viewed the webinar, please get in touch with us and we will send it to you electronically.
