Most veterinarians graduate from veterinary school with minimal or no training on how to run a veterinary practice/clinic and are left to acquire this knowledge elsewhere. In today’s competitive veterinary market it has become increasingly difficult to run a profitable veterinary business with just common sense and by ‘winging it’.
This course was specifically developed for busy equine practitioners and practice managers who are aiming at streamlining their practice/clinic and at making it more profitable. Attendees are not expected to have any pre-existing knowledge in the field of practice/clinic management and this course will provide them with readily applicable tools to increase their practice’s bottom line as soon as they return home.
The panel of speakers have all had long-standing involvements with the management of very successful equine practices/clinics and will present the material through a very practical approach based on personal experience as equine practitioners and practice managers.
The topic of finance & business strategies is approached by providing the attendees with the foundations of business management via a logical progression of interactive lectures, examples and case-discussions which are tailored to the specific needs of equine practitioners and practice managers. The following topics will be discussed on Day 1:
The day will be concluded with a relaxing Wine & Chees Reception and a mouth-watering dinner experience which provides an ideal opportunity to get to know the other attendees and the speakers.
Day 2 will then focus on specific topics affecting all practices and clinics whatever their size:
In the second half of the afternoon a thrilling surprise activity will be on offer followed by wining and dining at a popular local restaurant.
On Day 3 the following topics will be covered:
The course fee includes coffee/tea breaks, lunches, the wine & cheese reception, dinners at restaurants, a surprise fun activity, extensive electronic course notes and a certificate of attendance. Early course registration is recommended as there are only a limited number of places available for this course.
