Dr. David Argüelles introduces the physics, indications and use of radiofrequency devices in sport horses. The device generates electromagnetic currents at a constant and stable radiofrequency (RF), to produce bio-stimulatory effects and is widely used in physiotherapy of professional human athletes. Dr Argüelles presents his own experience of its use with clinical equine cases and discusses a range of international research publications.

After having taken and passed a multiple-choice question quiz, an additional certificate can be provided which confirms that the quiz was successfully completed. This certificate may then be used to request accreditation points from your local governing body / Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. David Argüelles has a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Barcelona. He holds the Supervisor of Medicinal Nuclear Resonance License and has a Diploma in Equine Surgery from the European Veterinary College. He also has a Masters in Science, as well as a PhD from the University of Barcelona.
Dr. Argüelles has published articles in 25 international publications and is an active lecturer and organizer of equine CPD courses. He has worked in 12 different countries as an equine surgeon and has strong interests in regenerative therapy, rehabilitation, sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery.
He has recently finished a residency in Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation with the ACVSMR. He is currently working at the University of Córdoba (UCO) as a senior surgeon and researcher, and is a professor of Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Master. Dr. Argüelles also works with the RECQ Hospital in Qatar.
