CONTENT DESCRIPTION
In this module, the present and future applications of computer-assisted surgery in equine veterinary medicine are explored by eminent human orthopaedic and veterinary surgeons. The role of the latest imaging technologies in human surgeries will be discussed, including cutting-edge CT arthrogram techniques and emerging MRI-based imaging modalities. Application in equine medicine, including orthopaedic, dental, sinus and neuro-surgery and beyond will be explored, discussed and debated between the two speakers, with input from the audience encouraged.
