Andrew graduated from the University of Queensland School of Veterinary Science in Australia, His PhD studies focused on the effects of therapeutic hypothermia on the development of laminitis. After completing a large animal medicine residency at New Bolton Center, and seven years at the University of Queensland as a faculty member and clinician, Andrew again returned to New Bolton Center in 2017 to focus on laminitis research as the Dean W. Richardson Endowed Chair of Equine Disease Research. Andrew's research goal is to identify the key mechanisms that lead to different forms of laminitis in order to develop clinically applicable strategies for prevention.

Edd graduated from Cambridge University in 2005. He worked in small animal practice at the PDSA for 18 months before joining BEVC as an intern in January 2007. After completing his internship he stayed at Bell Equine as an ambulatory vet primarily covering the North West area of the practice for a further 2-3 years. In 2010 Edd undertook a 3 year specialist training program in Equine Internal Medicine in collaboration with the Royal Veterinary College and became a European Specialist in Equine Internal Medicine. Edd has strong interests in clinical research. He is currently undertaking a part time PhD in equine laminitis whilst continuing to work both in the hospital and as an ambulatory vet at Bell Equine.

After graduation from the University of Cambridge in 2001, Fran spent 7 years working in the USA at the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center undertaking a surgical internship and residency prior to becoming a lecturer in Equine Sports Medicine. Since returning to the UK, Fran has worked in private Equine referral practice and has been based in Newmarket since 2016. Fran is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (since 2007), a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (since 2009), an RCVS specialist in Equine Surgery (since 2010) and became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2016. Fran has special interests in equine orthopaedics and lameness and causes of poor performance in equine athletes

Prior to entering the field of veterinary medicine, Dr. Jaret Pullen spent nearly two decades building a successful farrier business throughout the Northeast.  His ever-growing interest in therapeutic farriery drove him to pursue further training in the study and management of the equine hoof. Dr. Pullen received his received his D.V.M. degree from Cornell University, and currently travels between the Northeast and Texas managing a diverse caseload of horses of various breeds and disciplines. Dr. Pullen focuses exclusively on the treatment of lameness and diseases associated with the foot, often in collaboration with his mentors Drs. Ric Redden and Sammy Pittman. He specializes in treating complex foot issues such as laminitis, podotrochlosis (navicular disease), white line disease, soft tissue injuries, septic pedal osteitis, angular limb deformities and variety of other conditions.

Dr. Pullen’s dedication to the area therapeutic farriery is demonstrated through his work as a lecturer at numerous podiatry seminars and continuing education events, both within the U.S and internationally. He currently sits on the board of directors for the Northeast Association of Equine Practitioners, and is actively involved with Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine's new podiatry initiative.
