Part of the Equine Computed Tomography (CT) Image Interpretation & Clinical Applications Online Lecture Series

CONTENT DESCRIPTION

The teeth and paranasal sinuses have a complex three-dimensional anatomy, which can be difficult to adequately image using other techniques such as radiography.

In this module, two world-renowned speakers will discuss the use of computed tomography (CT) in this region. Image acquisition, unique anatomical features, and limitations will be discussed.

The session will demonstrate the importance of the inter-relationship between imaging and clinical findings when forming a diagnosis.

Dr. Henry grew up in Central Michigan and graduated from Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. In 1996, he started his own practice in Neenah, Wisconsin, which included all aspects of equine and small animal medicine. His interests were dentistry, lameness, and reproduction. After selling the practice in 2003, Dr. Henry started Midwest Equine Services and began to focus solely on veterinary dentistry. During this time, he traveled extensively in the U.S., Europe, and Australia teaching basic & advanced dentistry to veterinarians and consulting for Veterinary Dental Products.

In 2011, Dr. Henry began a dentistry residency at University of California Davis, which he completed in 2014. In 2015 he passed the dentistry boards, achieving diplomat status with the American Veterinary Dental College.
