The goal of the Virginia Association of Equine Practitioners (VAEP) is to improve the health and welfare of horses in Virginia through the professional support of its equine practitioners. Member benefits include continuing education opportunities, such as dinner lectures, seminars and wetlabs instructed by both nationally and internationally recognized speakers, as well as the establishment of an organized forum for voicing health issues pertinent to the equine industry. As an organization, the VAEP strives to facilitate communication between equine practitioners in the state in matters of equine health, safety and welfare. As an integral part of Virginia’s veterinary medical team, your involvement and input help other members to provide the most complete and progressive care for horses in the state.
