Dr Dennis Woerde graduated from the University of Sydney with first class honours. He completed a three-year residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of California, Davis. After becoming board-certified in small animal internal medicine, he continued at UC Davis for a two-year fellowship in nephrology, interventional endourology and extracorporeal therapies.

He is currently working at Medipaws Veterinary Specialist Centre and enjoys clinical practice and clinically relevant research. Dennis is in the first cohort of veterinarians worldwide undertaking a residency through the American College of Veterinary Nephrology-Urology in kidney and urinary disease.
