Jos graduated from Utrecht University in the Netherlands in 2015. Following a postgraduate internship at Utrecht, she pursued a rotating internship at Massey University in New Zealand. In February 2019, Jos joined the Neurology Service at the Small Animal Hospital in Glasgow as a resident in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
After completing her residency, Jos took on a role as a veterinary neurologist in Newcastle, while continuing part-time work in Glasgow to help establish the Glasgow Seizure Clinic. In 2024, she achieved board certification as a veterinary neurologist through the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN).
Jos has a strong clinical interest in veterinary epilepsy and is actively exploring the latest advances in its management, including dietary therapies and surgical options. She is passionate about guiding pet carers through the challenges of this condition and is dedicated to providing gold-standard care in veterinary neurology.
