Kristi Gannon graduated from Iowa State University in 1996 and joined a small animal general practice for 2 years. She completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey in 1999. Kristi worked at a private practice emergency center in Memphis, Tennessee and was inspired to complete a residency in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
In 2003, Kristi returned to Oradell Animal Hospital as Director of the Emergency and Critical Care Service where she continues to enjoy a long and satisfying career. In addition to her administrative duties, she is responsible for serving as a clinical veterinarian and supervises the hospital’s emergency and critical care residency program. Kristi loves everything about veterinary medicine and the science behind it, but what she enjoys most is giving her patients comfort and their owners support through times of crises.
Her professional interests include: Trauma, toxicities, shock, coagulation disorders, emergency endoscopy, urogenital emergencies, respiratory emergencies, heat-induced injuries, end of life palliative care and euthanasia.
